Fasting also reduces inflammation in the body by increasing insulin sensitivity which is often numbed by common foods in the Western diet. Reduction of bodily inflammation can lead to less pain caused by rheumatoid arthritis as well as improved brain function.

Everyone has their own opinion on the dangers of fasting and how this can spiral into eating disorders or other issues. However, this was the norm prior to owning a fridge (Fridges we know today have existed since the 19th century) and a natural state in which human beings evolved to become accustomed to. I’ll make up for the calories on my days eating, don’t you worry. I am no stranger (or enemy) of any buffet. 🤤
